Development and Training Strategies have been providing training for the Travel Industry since 1991. Our scheduled courses, as well as In-house training, are offered to travel agencies, tour operators, domestic and international airlines.
Scheduled courses operate from our training venue in Bedfordview. The training rooms have on-line computers linked to Galileo and Amadeus; white boards; flip charts and data projectors.
DTS also offers the flexibility of a travelling classroom, giving our out-of-town clients the same training opportunities as the major city agents. This includes our scheduled courses as well as customised In-house training, tailor–made to specific needs and presented at a time and venue suitable to our clients' requirements.
DTS courses are also regularly presented outside South Africa in Botswana; Burundi; Kenya; Lesotho; Namibia; Nigeria; Malawi; Mauritius; Mozambique; Rwanda; Swaziland; Uganda; Zambia and Zimbabwe.
Our highly qualified facilitators have worked and trained in the Travel Industry for many years and are currently still active in all spheres. Lectures are delivered with enthusiasm, expertise and professionalism.
As the battle for ownership of the customer increases, travel agents and airlines need to become more creative and skilled. Technology is producing a more informed traveler; therefore, training needs to produce travel consultants who have the knowledge to identify, fine-tune and execute the needs of this more demanding passenger!
